Redington runner wins a race on her home trail

A Redington runner won a race on her home trail.

Mya Campbell finished first in the girls varsity race during the Redington Invitational Saturday at Redington.

Campbell posted a time of 23 minutes, 23 seconds.

Palmer’s Fischer Adams won the boys race with a time of 18:10.

Colony was first in the girls team standings and Wasilla topped the boys team standings.

Wasilla’s Kiley Bruno was the runner-up in the girls race. Palmer’s Alder Deal finished third. Redington’s Saydi Cardoso and Colony’s Mariella Belliston rounded out the girls top five.

Palmer’s Tobin Miller was the runner up in the boys race. Wasilla’s Aceton Edgeton, Stephen Hafen and Kendall Greathouse placed third, fourth and fifth for the Warriors.
