I have attended Wasilla City Council, borough assembly and Mat-Su Borough School Board meetings for approximately seven months. I have visited most of the local high schools and middle schools. I have traveled the borough and spoken to the homeless, unemployed, business owners, landlords, property owners, elderly, youth and children. I am and have been taking a stand in their defense.
The Lord has said, “this land is consecrated unto him whom he shall bring. And if it so be that they shall serve him according to the commandments which he hath given, it shall be a land of liberty unto them…
“If the day shall come that they shall reject the Holy One of Israel … Yea, he will bring other nations unto them, and he will give unto them power, and he will take away from them the lands of their possessions, and he will cause them to be scattered and smitten.” — 2 Nephi 1:7, 10-1, Book of Mormon
“And it shall come in a day when the blood of saints shall cry unto the Lord, because of secret combinations and the works of darkness. Yea, it shall come in a day when the power of God shall be denied, and churches become defiled … Yea, it shall come in a day when there shall be heard of fires, and tempests, and vapors of smoke in foreign lands; And there shall also be heard of wars, rumors of wars, and earthquakes in divers places. Yea, it shall come in a day when there shall be great pollutions upon the face of the earth; there shall be murders, and robbing, and lying, and deceivings, and whoredoms, and all manner of abominations… — Mormon 8:27-31, Book of Mormon.
Christ taught, “Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not, for of such is the kingdom of God.”
We cannot hang a picture of the Savior in our schools, yet Mr. Vig at Palmer High School continues to have a demonic image painted on his door.
We cannot pray in our schools, yet meditation, yoga, socialism and Muslim agendas are taught.
We cannot sing hymns in our schools, yet the principal at Wasilla High School can blast rock music over the sound system and students can watch CSI during science.
We cannot include the scriptures in our schools, yet students can read, watch and listen to demonic media of vampires and witchcraft.
We are commanded to keep the Sabbath day holy, yet sports events are sponsored on Sunday.
We are commanded to be modest and clean in our speech, dress and behavior yet students and staff are immodest, use immoral speech, as well as behavior.
We are commanded to live the Word of Wisdom — to eat fruits and vegetables in their season, whole grains, and flesh sparingly and nothing addictive or harmful — yet students are fed unhealthy diets and our businesses sell these very things that destroy bodies, minds and spirits.
They have been forbidden. Our businesses promote the sale of alcohol, tobacco, caffeine, fast/junk food, tattoo and body-piercing shops, porn shops, immoral/violent/demonic media, immodest and demonic clothing. Our youth are on the streets or at the skateboard park at late hours unattended.
Every level of government practices unconstitutional government, excessive assessment, taxation and spending of taxpayer dollars and promote business and community social events — including the sale of alcohol, on public property, on Sunday.
Elder Ezra Taft Benson stated in 1962 that we would lose our freedoms in the guise of protection. We are. Absolutely do not allow anyone to place a computer chip in your animals, children or self as this is the mark of the beast spoken of in Revelation 13 and it is promoted as being for “protection.”
We have been commanded to be self-reliant and store food, water, emergency kits, clothing, wood/fuel, candles, and nonhybrid seeds that we may stand independent of anything that the world provides in the events ahead. We have been commanded to help the poor, needy, fatherless and widows.
God will not be mocked; we have been warned. He does not contradict himself, and he is just and merciful in His actions according to our obedience or disobedience.
The only answer is quick, sincere repentance and faith in and obedience to the gospel of Jesus Christ; the strengthening of our families through prayer and the study of scriptures and classics in our homes under the direction of righteous fathers and mothers, free enterprise with cash or trade [with] small, local businesses, and small constitutional government by the people, for the people, for the good of the whole, as our country was founded under His direction.
Please, I pray that the evil stops and we stand united as “One nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all,” for the preservation of us all.
