Response to Satanic invocations

To the editor:

I happened to stumble upon Steve Alexander's Opinion, dated Aug. 20, regarding Satanic Invocations being given at a Kenai Assembly to open the meeting.

Mr. Alexander; your words are sheer sophistry, without faith, without strength. You find the Satanic Invocations "amusing". You say that Christ and his followers are winning.

What in hell, I ask are you smoking?

You state, Remember, prayer to Satan or non-existent pagan deities is like prayer to your average piece of milled lumber. Well, then., that is Satan's greatest trick, (that he doesn't exist). Have you actually got even one part of the eternal struggle between good and bad? Have you listened to your Bible? Look, I have severe problems with any all powerful Deity that wants me to engage in an all out war with my fellow man.

I lived around Satanists, and found them as upright, or more, than many Christians. Nevertheless... I'm a Christian. Not because it's cool, or whatever. I said at six, there was no God. I would heartily desire to make it so. But if you are worth even half your salt, you know it's a knock down, drag out dustup.

Oddly, I have been warned by churches I've attended to drop the Satanic theme. I've also been warned by Police and FBI. Does that sound like Satanic Prayer is nothing?

Do you not know that one of the tenants of Satanism is utter and complete destruction of enemies?

Well, Ordo ab Chao.

Brush up on your skills Mr. Alexander. unless you just don't care.

Me? Courage is Life's only measure.
