Reward offered for info on stolen snow blower, treadmill

PALMER — Mat-Su Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of whoever stole a treadmill and a snow blower two weeks ago.

According to a Crime Stoppers press release, at 8;38 p.m. Oct. 20 Alaska State Troopers were called to a home on Hatcher Pass Street in the Pittman Road area of Meadow Lakes for a report of a burglary.

Sometime between Oct. 16 and Oct. 19 someone had broken into the home and stolen the snow blower — a Troybuilt Gardenway 22-inch, 10-horsepower model — and the treadmill — a NordicTrack Proform XP. Total loss is estimated to be $1,000.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 745-3333, submit a tip online at matsu-crimestoppers.org, or text MATSU followed by the tip to 274637.
