Hoboken, GA – Richard Nelson Beattie, 77, of Hoboken passed away Monday evening, January 15, 2024 at his residence after an extended illness.
Born in Lancaster, NH his parents were Nelson Beattie and Marjorie Miles Beattie. He is also preceded in death by his daughter, Shanna Wardal.
Richard served in the United States Air Force and was a heavy equipment operator for the Air Force Base in Alaska, where he loved dog sledding. He also loved his family and enjoyed riding motorcycles, hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his son, James Beattie of Las Vegas, NV; 3 grandchildren, Laura Heiselberz of NV, Taylor Russell of WY and Abigail Wardal of AZ; a sister and brother-in-law, Debra Fournier(Jean Paul) of Ocala, FL; and also several other relatives and a host of friends.
There will be no services at this time.
