Road Warriors run past Eagle River

WASILLA — Sam Loyer tossed a five-inning no hitter to lead the Alaska Road Warriors to an 11-0 win over Eagle River Wednesday at McManus Field in Wasilla.

Matt Palmer scored four runs for Alaska in the win. Palmer was one of six Warriors to finish with at least one run scored.

Palmer and Jimmy Arend had two hits each. Palmer and Koby Burns both drove in three runs.

The Wasilla team hosts rival Palmer Saturday at noon at McManus.
