Road Warriors score win over Palmer

The Wasilla Road Warriors opened the annual Todd Ryan Memorial tournament with a 14-2 win over rival Palmer Monday in Wasilla.

Wasilla cemented the win with a seven-run fifth inning. Lalo Palomares led the Warriors with five RBI in the win. Chase Sivulich and Gabriel Wheeler scored three runs each. Wheeler and Will Plowman drove in two runs each.

Oscar Savala earned the win on the mound for the Warriors.

Matt Norkus led Palmer with a pair of hits.
