The Wasilla Road Warriors used the squeeze play to score a walk-off win over Eagle River Sunday.
Will Plowman scored on an Andre Brown bunt in the bottom of the seventh to give the Warriors an 11-10 victory over the Wolves. Plowman set it up with a lead-off single.
The late effort helped Wasilla overcome Eagle River’s seven-run third inning. Wasilla opened the game with a 7-0 lead. Wasilla held a 10-9 advantage in the fifth, but the Wolves tied it in the sixth.
Plowman and Brown led Wasilla with four runs each. Nolan Murphy scored twice.
