PALMER -- A Big Lake man was arrested Wednesday in connection with the September 2003 robbery of Susitna Professional Pharmacy near Wasilla, Alaska State Troopers said.
Terry Sudbury, 34, was taken into custody at his home. Troopers said he was lodged at Mat-Su Pre-Trial Facility in lieu of $45,000 bail on charges of first-degree robbery, second-degree theft and three counts of third-degree assault.
He is accused of having entered the pharmacy Sept. 10, brandishing a gun, and stealing the prescription pain-killer OxyContin. Sudbury's arrest culminates a five-month investigation by the Alaska Bureau of Investigation's Mat-Su Unit, troopers said in a press release.
Troopers said the investigation was aided by numerous tips from the public after a composite drawing of the suspect was released to the media.
