Former Wasilla resident Robert Charles Young, 51, died Aug. 4, 2010, at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah, Ky.
He lived in Wasilla until 1996 and still has many friends and family in the Valley. A memorial service is planned for a later date.
Bob is survived by his companion Shirley Strang; father, Wayne E. Young; brothers David W. (Shirley) Young of Wasilla, Bruce Young of Ledbetter, Ky., and John Young of Paducah; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Armilda Jo Young; and grandparents, Russell and Harriet May of Fort Wayne, Ind., and Juanita Barclay of Marion, Ill.
