Rodeo hands out top honors

PALMER — Callie Willis and Scooter Hackett earned major honors during the Alaska State Fair Rodeo last weekend at the Alaska State Fair in Palmer.

Willis was named the All-Around Cowgirl and Hackett was dubbed the All-Around Cowboy following the two-day competition, which has long been an Alaska State Fair staple.

Bull Riding:

1. Dalton Lewis, 73; 2. Stephen Kitson, 72; 3. Warren Simpson, 70; 4.Courtney Sacks, 51.

Bareback Riding:

Saddle Bronc Riding:
