Rosa Mae Gruber, 85, died at Homestead Assisted Living Center in Palmer on Aug. 27, 2004. A memorial service was held Saturday, at Palmer Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Ms. Gruber was born May 2, 1919, in Island Grove, Ga., where she was raised and lived until moving to Palmer on Jan. 15, 2004, to be close to her family.
Gruber is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jeanne and Don Bosdell, of Palmer; a son, Sam Gruber, of Wasilla; 12 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren.
Arrangements were made by Valley Funeral Home & Crematory.
