They Wasilla Warriors used goals from six different players to topple the Colony Knights in a match-up of Valley rivals Thursday night at the Curtis C. Menard II Memorial Ice Arena. Forrest Savel made 49 saves for Colony, while Adam Spencer saved 24 in his first start of the season for the Warriors.

The Colony Knights boys basketball team beat Nome to open the Service Tip-Off tournament held in Anchorage on Thursday.
Hoston boys fall in OT
The Houston Hawks boys basketball team lost 64-58 in overtime to Cook Inlet Academy Thursday night in Soldotna. Scott Herman lead the Hawks with 17 points and Brian Mason added 14. The Hawks tip off against Cordova this afternoon at 4 p.m. in the consolation round of the So-Hi tournament.
