The Matanuska-Susitna Borough has issued an advisory to drivers that Bogard Road and the roundabouts will experience a roving shoulder work closure so crews can make repairs and maintenance to the light fixtures. Work is expected to start this Thursday January 26 and Friday, January 27, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, or until job completion.
The shoulder work will occur east of Trunk Road on Bogard Road, between the west side of Colony Middle School and the Glenn Highway at various locations, including the roundabouts.
Additionally, Seward Meridian Parkway will also have a roving intermittent shoulder work closure as it too will undergo light fixtures repairs and maintenance. The roving shoulder work will take place on Seward Meridian Parkway between the Cottonwood Elementary school entrance and the Parks Highway at various locations.
