Runners compete in winter triathlon

PALMER — More than 30 individuals and eight teams participated in the Palmer Winter Triathlon Dec. 13 in Palmer.

The event, hosted by Active Soles Performance Footwear and sponsored by Mat-Su Health Foundation and IceBug Inc., featured a 16-kilometer bike ride, 6-K run and 600-yard swim in the Palmer Pool.
