Save the Palmer Moose Lodge

This is a plea to current and past members of the Palmer Moose Lodge No. 793.

Please attend the next scheduled meeting at the lodge at 7 p.m. Sept. 11 to discuss nominations and election of new officers. Four of the recent officers have resigned and there is a distinct possibility, unless a new group is elected to replace them, the lodge may close.

Your input is critical to it’s survival for you, your family and your community! This is an institution that Matanuska Valley residents, local organizations and visitors have enjoyed for more than 60 years. It is an excellent facility that honors its home-grown members — living and deceased — all the way back to the colonists who first ventured to the Valley in 1935.

Please don’t let it disappear!
