Students in Julie Kingsley's fourth-grade math class at Cottonwood Creek Elementary School are using math to create this large Halloween card out of smaller 1-inch squares.Each student painted his or her own square at a 1:9 ratio to create a larger Halloween mural that will hang in the hallway at the school. The finished product will measure 63 inches by 45 inches.
