The Mat-Su Borough School District is partnering with Radio Free Palmer to provide live streaming of the school board meetings, beginning with a special budget meeting at 6 p.m., Wednesday.
The school board approved a contract with the non-profit organization to provide live audio streaming and archived podcasting service for regular school board meetings for the next year.
Radio Free Palmer has streamed Mat-Su Borough Assembly meetings since 2007.

Nurturing New Beginnings — Mat-Su Regional Medical Center’s annual baby and children’s fair — is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., April 9 at the Mat-Su Regional, 2500 South Woodworth Loop.The health fair includes safety games, parenting advice and health education, vision screening, the Palmer Fire Department will bring a fire truck for kids to investigate and the AT&T Sports Center will share information on Stroller Strides and Tiny Dancers programs as well as demonstrations at 10:30 a.m. And Mat-Su Regional’s obstetrics staff also will provide tours of the Birthing Center.
