Fronteras to hold spaghetti feed
Fronteras Immersion Charter School hosts its first spaghetti feed noon to 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 26. The banquet will be held at the Veterans of Foreign Wars post in Wasilla and all profits will be divided between grades to go toward field trips. Schools give back at Thanksgiving
Next week is Thanksgiving, so there are only three days of school for students. Students are participating in gathering turkey and other food items for baskets for the Homeless Coalition. Dave Rose in Mat-Su Borough School District administration is coordinating the effort. Overall, the district and schools will put together baskets for close to 100 families and coordinate with food pantries and other organizations. Contact your local school for information on how to help.
