Colony withstood a late Palmer rally to advance to the ASAA Class 4A state title game. The state title game appearance is the first for the Knights since 2000.
Alex Coon led Colony with 14 points, while Jackie Hamann added 11. Palmer got 13 points from Mikaela Bolling and 12 from Ashley Swetzof.
Colony will play at 6 p.m. Saturday at Sullivan Arena in the girls' Class 4A state championship game. Palmer will play for third place at 9 a.m. at Sullivan Saturday.
