PALMER — Mat-Su Borough officials will hold an open house on a planned septage and leachate facility Wednesday.
The facility site has been narrowed to two possible locations: one near the site of the borough landfill, and a second parcel of borough-owned property near the intersection of Church and Seldon roads. The project has many more approvals to seek before a final location is selected, borough officials have said. The facility could potentially cost as much as $22 million according to borough officials.
The open house is set for 4 to 7 p.m., Wednesday at Colony Middle School, 9250 Colony Schools Drive.
