Retiring teacher, coach urges Colony grads to ‘find their 68’

Wasilla resident Serenity Dawn Louise Bolinder, 19 days old, died Oct. 12, 2003, at Legacy Emanuel Hospital in Portland, Ore., of congenital Lymphengectasia.
Funeral services will be held at Wasilla Lake Church of the Nazarene Saturday at 2 p.m. Pastor Lawrence Golden will officiate. Interment will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Wasilla. Her father, Josh Bolinder, will serve as pallbearer.
Serenity was born Sept. 23, 2003, at Providence Hospital in Anchorage.
She was baptized by Pastor Mike Morrison of the Rose City Church of the Nazarene in Rose City, Ore.
Serenity's family wrote, "Serenity's strength and endurance inspired us all. She is Mommy's and Daddy's little angel. Serenity has taught us the meaning of life."
Serenity is survived by her parents Sharron Potter and Josh Bolinder; brother Rylee Bolinder; grandparents Dave and Marla Bolinder, Debbie Ponte, Robert Potter and Shannon Nichols; great-grandparents Richard and Elaine Potter and Connie Landowski of Washington and La Nia Skola of Utah.
