The Service Cougars earned the team title at the annual Buddy Dale Invitational baseball tournament Saturday at Wasilla High School.
Service blanked Cook Inlet Conference rival Eagle River 9-0 in the final.
Service moved forward with a 6-1 win over Colony. Eagle River beat host Wasilla 14-3.
The Warriors edged rival Palmer 5-4 in the tournament.
Jaxson Wright scored on a passed ball in the bottom of the sixth to give the Warriors the 5-4 win over the Moose. Wasilla took an early 3-0 lead and Palmer tied the score with three runs in the third.
Nate Nickerson led the Warriors with a hit, run and RBI.
Reed Craner led the Moose with two hits and an RBI.
Colony scored a 9-8 victory over Sitka early in the tourney.
The Knights fell behind during the first two innings, but capped their rally with five runs in the sixth. Four of those runs came with two outs. Boman Marks used a run-scoring single to tie the score at 6. Colony scored three more runs on Sitka errors.
Marks was 3 for 4 from the leadoff spot, with three runs and two RBI.
