Wasilla Middle School Assistant Principal Jason Moore helps Josh Gabel learn to snowboard during this year’s Shredfest event. About 420 Wasilla Middle School students celebrated the sixth annual Shredfest Reading Incentive Program at Hilltop Ski Resort on March 24. Under the leadership of Wasilla Middle School Librarian Bonnie Cavanaugh, 755 students participated in the school-wide read-a-thon during third quarter. Total books read were 6,158.
