WASILLA — The Colony Knights scored a pair of lopsided girls’ soccer victories during two days on the Kenai Peninsula.
Colony peppered the Nikiski goal with 35 shots on net during a 5-0 win over the Bulldogs Saturday in Nikiski. Sahara Iverson notched a hat trick for the Knights. Peyton Johnstone and Rina Inagaki also scored goals for Colony.
Maddy Zmuda earned the shutout in the Knights net.
Friday, Colony put 26 shots on goal during a 5-1 win over the Homer Mariners in Homer.
Johnstone finished with a hat trick against the Mariners. Gabby Wakaliuk added two goals.
Colony improved to 4-2-1 in Northern Lights Conference play with the wins.
Colony boys blank Homer
Colony scored a 2-0 boys’ soccer victory over Homer in Homer Friday night.
