Some like to advertise their lack of class

To the editor:

Got a good laugh from your editorial, “When we lose our right to be different, we lose the privilege to be free.” I reckon some people just have to advertise their lack of education and lack of class by making fun of someone. It would appear these people did not finish high school — they probably never heard of colloquial speech — and don’t understand slang.

If the ReadNex and their “hip-hop” gets kids interested in education instead of doing dope and other stupid stuff, I say “right on, man, get it on!” They can be taught that there is a time — and reason — to use “correct grammar” in both speech and writing.
