KODIAK — Hunter Eisenhower silenced the Kodiak crowd Saturday afternoon.
Eisenhower drained a buzzer-beating three-pointer from the right corner to give the Colony Knights a 47-46 win over the Kodiak Bears Saturday at Kodiak High School.
The game-winner was one of two shots from behind the arc as Colony rallied to score the road win and sweep a two-game set at Kodiak. Junior Jared Turner hit a three-pointer with 13 seconds remaining to cut Kodiak’s lead to 45-44. Kodiak’s Mitchell Tacata followed by going 1-for-2 from the free throw line with 11 seconds left. That gave the Bears the two-point lead before Eisenhower gave the Knights the win.
Colony, which also beat Kodiak 51-44 on Friday, finished 6-4 in NLC play. Kodiak ended its season 1-9 in the NLC.
Senior Payton McCann led the Knights with 12 points. Senior Tanner Enloe added 10.
Eisenhower scored 19 to lead Colony to the 51-44 over Kodiak.
