I had a terrific workout with Jenni at the gym on Saturday morning. I had to cut it short due to another appointment, but it was still good, and my abs still feel it two days later! Jenni is really into Pilates, and though I completed a Beach Body Boot Camp at another Pilates studio, I never got too into it, mainly because I found it to be very mentally taxing. But Jenni makes it fun, and the basics I learned before seem to help. We did the reformer machine on Saturday; well worth getting past my fear of Pilates.
I am on track with dieting. I’m now shooting for 1,000 – 1,200 calories a day between now and Feb. 23 when my husband and I leave for a cruise vacation. I’m focusing on eating a lot of protein and am not hungry.
Tonight I did an old Jane Fonda workout tape so I’m feeling pretty good about both diet and exercise. Tomorrow the gym!
