Fellow Alaskans,
I urge all to now unite behind the Republican team on November 8. Early voting has already started and the time has come to rally for victory!
Trump-Pence, Murkowski, Young and every State Senate and State House Republican candidate...we support them all, every one.
True, we have had vigorous debate amongst ourselves. We admit it. Not even all our candidates see eye to eye on each other. You might say this is not the easiest job to be Chairman of such a Party, but it is easy to be proud of my Party, our platform, and even the independence of our candidates.
Yes, we are the team that is independent, very feisty, does not seem to hold back on each other when we disagree, have perfected the art of constructive criticism and sometimes have a tough time getting along.
But at the end of the day, we are the team focused upon smaller government, constitutional government and we are the team dedicated to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
As a Party, we take pride in our military, our nation, our state and our community.
We understand that lasting prosperity comes from jobs created by free enterprise.
We believe that every life is precious from conception to natural death and that education of our children is primarily the responsibility of their parents.
You can review our platform at www.alaskagop.org. This platform is rewritten every two years at our State Convention, drafted and approved by our grassroots activists elected at District Conventions across Alaska.
Our conservative platform represents our collective vision for conservative governance.
Our candidates represent our collective best choices for each office.
The Republican candidates selected in the Republican primary represent a very wide diversity of opinions, experiences and backgrounds. All together, we are the diverse - and very independent - Alaska Republican Party.
The other guys, the Democrat team?
Their platform: More taxes, more government, more regulation.
More state control over your fun, family and finances.
More state control over the education and lives of your children.
Democrats focus on political correctness, victimhood, dependence on government, distrust of the free enterprise economy and have left in their wake a weaker, dissipated military.
Apparently, lockstep conformity is a Democrat value. You do not hear the Democrats calling to account anyone on their team. Ever.
Uniform silence on misdeeds, mistakes or disagreements.
And it starts at the top of the Democrat Party: Hillary Clinton. The corruption of Hillary Clinton permeates every decision she makes.
How can every single Democrat remain silent?
Will not one of them speak up to call out Hillary Clinton? On anything?
Calling on who we see as the Alaskan “Democrats” team:
The trio of unknown Democrat candidates in the Mat-Su, Vince Beltrami, Luke Hopkins, Harriet Drummond, Dan Ortiz, Bryce Edgmon, Sue Levi, Steve Lindbeck, Margaret Stock, Jason Grenn, Ivy Spohnholz, Harry Crawford, Adam Wool, Joe Hackenmueller, David Gillespie, Matt Claman, Jonathon Kreiss-Tomkins...will none of you stand apart, even an inch, from the blatant corruption of Hillary Clinton?
Will none of you even dare utter a peep of rebuke to your candidate for President, Hillary Clinton?
We Republicans are not afraid to call out our own team - when we do not like something they say or do. And sometimes that criticism stings! But then again, we are a party of individuals not afraid to speak our minds. When all is said and done, we at the Alaska Republican Party and our candidates are the stronger for it.
But the Democrats! They sit silently by, nothing Clinton says or does sparks even the slightest critical comment.
The Democrats, a very timid team indeed.
