PALMER — A pair of Mat-Su swimmers earned individual titles during the Valley Invitational at the Palmer Pool on Saturday.

Palmer’s Noelle Graham swam to a win during the 100-yard butterfly. Graham used her time of 1 minute, 3.84 seconds to finish first, ahead of runner-up Dana Olesch of Homer.

Graham also helped Palmer finish second in the 400 freestyle relay. Graham, Willow Schlenker, Sarah Hanson and Katie Stark combined to post a time of 4:07.24.

Stark finished in the top 6 in a pair of events. She was fourth in the 50 freestyle and sixth in the 500 freestyle.

The Moose girls finished seventh in the team standings.

Colony’s Alex Kessler earned a victory in the 100 backstroke with his time of 58.83. Kessler’s teammate, Zane Mileur, was fifth in the 100 freestyle and sixth in the 100 breaststroke to help the Knights finish fifth in the boys’ team standings.

Palmer’s Spencer Bloom posted a pair of top 5 finishes to lead the sixth-place Moose boys.

Bloom was fourth in the 50 freestyle and fifth in the 100 backstroke.
