Soccer Clinic
The 2003 Region III champion Colony High School soccer squads will hold their annual soccer clinic on Feb. 2 at Colony High School
The clinic will be held during a school in-service day.
Registration will be from 8-8:45 am. The clinic runs from 9 a.m. to 1:30 pm.
The $27 cost includes a CHS soccer tshirt.
Participants need to bring non-marking sole shoes, shinguards, a sack lunch and a ball, if available.
All items should be marked with your child's name. Registration forms are availabe at your child's school or the day of the clinic.

Hockey tournament
The city of Wasilla and Greater Wasilla Chamber of Commerce are hosting the first Iditarod Days Adult Hockey Classic in the new Wasilla multi-use sports complex, March
11-24.
The tournament features two age divisions for adult men. There will be eight teams in the over 25 class and four teams in the over 40 class.
The event includes a three game minimum plus playoffs, skills competition, T-shirts, prizes and more.
The entry fee is $1,000 per team with proceeds donated to United Way of Mat-Su.

Hoops referees needed
Valley Youth Basketball Association is looking for adults to help referee for the 2004 season.
The basketball season starts in January and runs through March. Games are scheduled on Saturdays.
No experience is necessary for those interesting in becoming a referee.

Power volleyball league
Valley Volleyball League is sponsoring power volleyball for adults this winter.
This session of the league caters to adults wanting to play a fast game of organized volleyball to improve their skills.
There will be open games as well as in-house matches and tournaments.
Teams may also choose to compete in Anchorage. This is a great way to get exercise and stay in shape during the winter months.
The league plays at Palmer Junior Middle School every Tuesday from 7-9 p.m.
Registration must be completed and a league fee of $30 must be paid, prior to participating.
