STACY D. FULFORD

Stacy D. Fulford, 57, died at his home in Wasilla on May 12, 2003.

A graveside service with military honors will take place at Fort Richardson National Cemetery at 11 a.m. today, May 16. A memorial service will be held at the Fellowship of Praise Church of God in Rocky Mount, N.C. at a later date.

Stacy was a Vietnam veteran and a member of VFW. He retired from the U.S. Food Service in January 2003. He and his wife Priscilla had just recently moved to Alaska from North Carolina settling in the Wasilla area.

His family said, "He was a faithful obedient servant and a true man of God."

He was a member of the Fellowship of Praise Church of God.

His hobbies and special interests were NASCAR racing, woodcrafting and he was also talented in the art of drawing.

He is survived by his wife, the Reverend Priscilla Fulford of Wasilla; daughters, Cheryl Lee and her husband John Jones of Rocky Mount, N.C., Cindy Maria and her husband Robert Heintzman of Wasilla; sisters Donnae Parham, Dorothy Brayboy, Charlotte Sills, Michelle House and one brother Ronnie Fulford all of Rocky Mount, N.C.; granddaughter, Hannah Faith Fulford of Rocky Mount, N.C.; grandsons, Joshua Allan Jones of Rocky Mount, N.C., and Joseph Stacy and Robert Gabriel Heintzman of Wasilla.

Arrangements were made by Valley Funeral Home of Wasilla.
