Congratulations to Pioneer Peak Elementary School fourth-grader Ashleigh Olson, this week's Mat-Su Borough School District Student of the Week.
"Ashleigh is a bright, creative and responsible student," said her teacher, Lindsay Holman, who nominated Olson. "She is always helping in the classroom, whether it is something I need help with or her fellow students. She also has a wonderful smile that she shows everyone each day. She is friendly and admired by her peers."
