Kiley Nagl, a fifth-grader at Iditarod Elementary School, has been named the Mat-Su Borough School District Student of the Week. She was nominated by her teacher, Rory Morse.

In his nomination, Morse said: “Kiley is a great citizen in our class. She has earned the honor of being the first Student of the Month at her school, Iditarod Elementary. Respectful in all of her interactions with her peers, Kiley is also respectful when interacting with adults in the building. She is a leader in the class and is looked up to by her peers. Kiley is a pleasure to have as a student.”
