My name is Tora and I am a second-grade student at Tanaina Elementary. This is Teacher Appreciation Week and I want all my teachers at the school know how much I appreciate all they do for me.
Mrs. Firmani, our librarian, reads stories to us and makes me enjoy learning to read. Mr. Miller is really nice and has taught us a lot of new songs. Ms. McCombs makes us sweat during her gym classes and taught us that “sweat is our friend.”
My second-grade teacher, Ms. Makgetla, makes learning fun and I love being in her class. She is really nice and funny, too. I don’t know how much I would have learned this year if it hadn’t been for her. Thank you for all you do!
