Retiring teacher, coach urges Colony grads to ‘find their 68’

Work by the winners will hang in the hallway display cases in the Fred and Sara Machetanz Building on the campus through Sept. 10.
First-place winner Morgan of Wasilla High School will receive 24 credits during her freshman year at Mat-Su College.
“She shows great promise with her art and a permanent plaque with her name on it will be displayed in the art department,” said Suzanne Bach, Fine Arts coordinator for the college.
Gianopoulos of Palmer High School won second place and receives 12 credits during her freshman year. Not pictured is Amanda Hunter of Burchell High School, who won third place.
