WASILLA — A collision between a black sedan and a school bus temporarily delayed 23 elementary school students from getting home on Thursday afternoon.

Alaska State Troopers were investigating the crash, which occurred in a residential neighborhood on Monte Vista Drive. Both drivers said they were uninjured at the scene, and paramedics gave a clean bill of health to the students.

The car sustained serious damage to its front end, while the First Student bus appeared to be undamaged except for some scratches on its rear bumper.
