Sullivan the clear choice for mayor

To the editor,

I’m voting for Brian Sullivan for Mat-Su Borough mayor. He has shown integrity, consistency, a strong willingness to listen and then be decisive, professionalism and a commitment in his many years of service as a former school board member, officer in the U.S. Army and attorney.

Sullivan understands people, he has management experience, he takes action and, most importantly, he has common sense and represents the people. We need leadership with practical hands-on experience and no hidden agenda — that’s Sullivan.

I first met Sullivan in 2008 during a contentious issue before the school board. He handled that very volatile issue with great professionalism and helped drive everyone involved to a solution that was optimal for everybody.

He understands our borough finances, the value of strong school partnerships, the borough’s economic needs and developmental controls.

On Jan. 11, please join me in voting for Brian!
