BIG LAKE — Houston used three second-period goals to grab a 4-3 Greatland Conference win over Monroe Catholic in Big Lake Friday.
Jonathon Lovelace, Lane Styers and Jade Sears all scored during the final 11 minutes of the period. The Styers and Sears goals came with the Hawks skating on the power play.
Styers scored twice to lead Houston. HHS goalie Rhys Jones made 13 of his 21 saves in the first period.
