I have known Crystal Nygard nearly her entire life. Her family and mine grew up in the same neighborhood. Crystal is one of the most intelligent people I’ve ever met. She will be an independent voice on the MEA board. A voice that has experience, professionalism, respect, and thoughtfulness. Crystal won’t choose sides for either the board or management, because she will be on our side — the membership’s side. Under her leadership MEA will be run by rational policies, responsible financial planning and independence from Anchorage. Crystal supports a combination of renewable energies and a natural gas power plant for our electric supply. Join us in voting for Crystal Nygard for MEA Board.
