Dan Sullivan’s recent campaign literature ignores the truth and folks in the communities where it was delivered need to know how inaccurate it is. Sullivan’s agency opposed the pro-gun law, Stand Your Ground, and fact checkers caught Sullivan lying about it.
Now Sullivan’s trying to rewrite history by associating Mark Begich with gun control. Nothing could be farther from the truth. Unlike Dan Sullivan, Begich has a record of voting in favor of gun rights, which is why he has an A rating from the NRA.
Sullivan has never voted to defend gun rights, and the only action he ever took was allowing his agency to lobby against gun rights.
