Recently, I had the opportunity to meet several school board candidates. David Cheezem stands out as the best choice, partly because of his independence, and his involvement with education and this community. People may know of his longtime support for schools at Fireside Books.
He has shown a capacity for low-cost creative solutions at Palmer Arts Council and local radio station KVRF.
He would do a good job finding solutions for problems our schools will face.
