Supports Estelle

To the editor —

I completely agree with John Harmon's spectrum article that the Alaska Judicial Council does not reflect the values of most Alaskans and is no longer a credible body; and Benjamin Brown's letter that Judge Estelle has been mischaracterized by an errant panel of state government. The present council seems totally out of touch with reality. Unfortunately, and especially in our state, the most qualified and competent individuals do not always serve on these state entities. Hopefully our legislators will correct this problem. If not them, then we the voters must.
