Supports Hughes

To the editor:

MaryAnn and I strongly support Shelley Hughes for re-election to represent District 11. Hughes is a very effective legislator and has been a prime sponsor of a number of successful bills significant to the economy of our area and to Alaska. She listens and actively communicates with voters. She has the character and integrity so important to an effective legislator.

Very significant and of great importance is Shelley is a strong supporter of the Second Amendment. Her support and legislative actions earned Shelley an A rating from the National Rifle Association and an NRA Endorsement for re-election. There are many NRA members in District 11 and every NRA member should vote in the Nov. 4 election. MaryAnn and I encourage all NRA members to carefully consider Shelley’s NRA Endorsement and vote for Shelley Hughes on Nov. 4.
