I have had the distinct privilege of knowing and serving with Patrick Johnson, Borough Assembly candidate. We served together six years on the Platting Board and two additional years on the Planning Commission. Patrick is one of the few people I know whom I consider a true gentleman. He cut short his service as chair of the Planning Commission to run for Mat-Su Borough Assembly because his integrity would not allow him to do both.
I am so convinced he will do the people’s work on the assembly that I committed to his campaign. Only after I did so did I learn that he was a two-tour plus veteran of Vietnam. I want thank him for his service here in public.
