To the editor:
I am writing in support of Bob Williams as our next Lieutenant Governor. I’ve known Bob as a member of our church and as an outstanding and deservedly recognized Valley educator for a number of years. He is a committed, honest, and intelligent man who has the best interests of our state and, most importantly, our children at heart. Bob is well respected by all who know and work with him. He will do an admirable job if elected.
I also know of his opponent, Anchorage mayor Dan Sullivan, under whose administration I worked until retirement this year. Let me say that those years were some of the most challenging in my nearly 40 years in law enforcement in terms of working with City Hall. As a result of his policies, or lack thereof, I’ve seen very little positive results during his administration, only constant conflict. Given the choice, I know who I don’t want just a heartbeat away from the office of Governor. Bob Williams will have my vote.
