Sutton Democrats to caucus tonight

Mat-Su Democrats in District 12 will caucus today at 7 p.m., at the Duhamel residence, 12159 N Wright Way, in Sutton.

Democrats in districts 13, 14, 15, and 16 will have the chance April 14 to voice their support for the reelection of President Barack Obama.

Mat-Su Democrats will meet at 9 a.m., Saturday at the old Mat-Su Cinema in Wasilla.

District 15 also will caucus Saturday in Talkeetna at the Twister Creek Restaurant.

Only Democrats may vote. And those who wish to register as a Democrat may do so the morning of the caucus.

The meeting begins at 9 a.m. with registration and a continental breakfast.

The group will fan out and cast their votes beginning at 9:45 a.m.

Local party business, including the election of delegates to the State Convention, will follow.

Lunch will be available.

The meeting is set to end by 3 p.m.
