BIG LAKE — A Sutton man was arrested early Friday morning for felony driving under the influence after Alaska State Troopers came upon his vehicle in the ditch on W. Sunrise Drive, in Big Lake.
Troopers’ investigation revealed Jonathan Hickman, 43, of Sutton had been driving the vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and was arrested for DUI.
On scene investigation determined Hickman also had a felony DUI conviction from 1999 and was remanded to Mat-Su Pre-Trial. Bail was set at $5,000 and he will also need someone to watch over him before he can be released.
The vehicle was released to a licensed driver.
