To the editor,
Swanson Elementary’s annual Halloween carnival was a big success again this year, thanks in part to many hard working staff members, as well as local high school and middle school students, including Palmer Junior Middle School’s Leadership Club. Additionally, parents and families donated candy, items for the cake walk, and time. Without the hard work of so many people, we would not be able to set up dozens of booths with games, prizes, and activities such as trick-or-treating.
Swanson Elementary would like to express our sincere gratitude to the following donors for many wonderful prize donations: Alaska Center for Acupuncture, Alaska Golf Shot, Alaska Rim Engineering, April Matthews, Aurora Nursery, Bouncin’ Bears, Country Cutts, Dawn Dewall, Diane Wilson, Donna Maupin, Fireside Books, Jane Bailey, Joe Schaff, Misty Jones, Palmer Golf Course, Pioneer Pizza and RW’s Hamburger House.
Many thanks to all of the businesses, organizations and individuals who made Swanson’s Halloween Carnival so successful.
