Swimming coverage appreciated

To the editor,

I want to thank you for the article congratulating the Colony Swim Team on their winning streak. Swimming can sometimes be an under recognized sport because it is not played on a traditional sports field. As a member of the swim team, I personally know the joy and excitement that comes with winning and when noticed by the community it means a lot more. The detailing and depth of the article really gives emphasis on how much talent is not only on our team, but in the whole Mat-Su Valley. The short but well thought out title, “Continued Success”, shows how much potential our team has for the upcoming meets along with regions and state. I did not write this letter to criticize or complain about The Frontiersman like most letters to the editor are but to instead recognize your dedication and research to the Mat-Su Valley and what makes up the outstanding community.
